running in gear out of water
I am looking at running my motor in gear in my driveway so I do not need to run to the river and launch each time try and fix my problem.
So to those of you who have done it, how large of a container do I need? It is an 87 90hp evinrude. I don't know what will happen if I run it in gear and the container is too small, will it want to move with the turbulance, ect.
I need advice from others who have tried the same thing please. Thanks in advance
PS
I am trying to find out why my forward does not engage, so I need to see if the prop is spinning.

For the summer time, can never go wrong with a nice running vest, preferably with some wicking technology to pull moisture off off your skin to help it evapourate.
For winter, the extreme, short and vest again, else maybe invest in a long sleeve top and some nice lycra leggings, hahaha, great things. both will keep you warm.
As for waterproofs, i shouldn't worry about your legs at all, something thin and warm will be better, thin so it drys out quick. As for upper body gore-tex jackets are great, waterproof and breathable look out for light ones.
Ronhill will be a good make to search for for any of the above.
